Terms and Conditions of Restorations – DGSL Limited
These Terms and Conditions apply to all goods and services provided by DGSL Limited. By placing an order with DGSL Limited, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and if there is anything unclear or you are unhappy with. please contact us before placing your order.
1. Orders
Orders for DGSL services can be made in person, by telephone or through, email or through the DGSL website.
1.1- We remind customers that all DGSL products are made and restored by hand, using traditional methods, and that leather is a natural product. Therefore variations and imperfections, which do not affect the use of goods supplied, can occur.
1.2- Images of products used on our website and social media are illustrative and colour and other details may vary.
If you require an exact colour/appearance for a product, please make this clear to DGSL and ask for a sample if appropriate.
1.3- Customers are responsible for giving accurate measurements and other information for bespoke orders. A measuring guide is provided on the website but please ask for further clarification if required.
1.4- Any estimate or quotation is valid for a maximum of 28 days, unless otherwise stated.
1.5- Any variation to the specification of a bespoke or restoration order must be communicated to DGSL before work has commenced on the product. DGSL will notify the customer of any change in price as a result of such change and the customer may choose one of the following:
a) Proceed with the original specification and price
b) Agree the revised specification and pay the revised price
c) Cancel the order
2. Repairs
Where a customer asks DGSL to repair an item belonging to the customer, DGSL will assess items to be repaired and provide the customer with an estimate of cost and timing. This estimate can change according to the availability of materials; in which case DGSL will advise the customer of any change, prior to undertaking the repair. If the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair, the items to be repaired will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
3. Payment
When goods or services are purchased from us, ownership of the goods does not pass to the customer until DGSL has received the payment in full. Where we repair customer’s own items, DGSL is entitled to request payments to be made in full prior to any works taking place.
4. Complaints
DGSL operates a complaints handling procedure and tries to resolve disputes when they first arise. Please let us know if you have any complaints or comments.
5. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales
Terms and Conditions of Selling with – DGSL Limited
- 1 – Agreement.
By using our services (any part of DGSL), or accepting the terms and conditions when prompted, you agree to be bound by the terms found on this page and thus have read and abide by them entirely. If you do not agree with our terms and conditions, do not use any part of our services. Agreement (by use of our service or acceptance when prompted) to the terms and conditions on this page creates a legally binding agreement between us (DGSL) and you (the user of our service). Therefore read this document carefully.
- 2 – Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability.
2.1 – DGSL Limited is a Family Business. All goods sold are purchased from third parties, not from DGSL. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you covenant to not bring any claim against DGSL Limited.
DGSL will not be responsible for the actions or inactions of its users.Buying from DGSL Limited
1 – When committing to buy any item from DGSL, you the buyer are accepting the sellers’ offer and thus create a legally binding agreement with the seller directly to complete the sale of that item. Once this agreement has been made under no circumstances can the buyer cancel the order. Doing so will violate these terms and conditions and as such DGSL reserves the right to prohibit any future use of any of our services.
2 – DGSL operates as an agent connecting buyers and sellers. All purchases and sales are a direct and legally binding agreement between buyer and seller and NOT DGSL. As such, we strictly operate a no returns/refunds policy
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
1 – At DGSL Limited all goods sold are purchased from third parties, not from DGSL. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you covenant to not bring any claim against DGSL Limited. DGSL will not be responsible for the actions or inactions of its users.
1.1 – DGSL Limited does not perform background checks nor do we endorse any users and as such will not be held responsible for users actions or inactions.
1.2 – DGSL Limited does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any content made available to its users, whether that be on Dgsl.uk or any other linked website or outlet, including all social media pages.
1.3 – By using our service you agree that liability of DGSL Limited shall be strictly limited, in any circumstance, to the 33% transaction fee of the sole transaction in question.
Indemnity
By using our service, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold DGSL Limited, its directors, employees and agents, completely harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, expenses (including legal and accounting costs), incurred in any way connected with your (the users) access and use of our services, or your violation of these terms.
